At number 50, Calle de Sa Lluna, currently one of the commercial axes of Sóller and an old medieval road that linked the city with Biniaraix, Binibassí and Fornalutx, we find a typical house of Mallorcan popular architecture: the Casa de Sa Lluna.
Built in the fifteenth century, the Casa de Sa Lluna stands out for the irregular pieces that form its walls, the half-point portal and the ornamentation of the window and the small window. But, above all, it highlights the figure of marés in the form of a face with a hieratic attitude that represents the crescent moon and that stands out above the arch of the porch.
Despite sharing the same name, neither the Casa de Sa Lluna nor this curious figure of Marés are the ones that give the street its name.
Visitors visiting the Casa de Sa Lluna de Sóller can take advantage of this opportunity to browse among the craftsmen's shops and visit the other cataloged houses on Calle de Sa Lluna: walking through this narrow alley is crossing with small architectural details of great beauty that explain the history of Sóller at every step.
At number 16 on Calle de Sa Lluna we find Can Prohom, an inn dating from 1758 worth admiring both inside and outside, later, at number 23, we find Can Bardí a historicist style house and Ca la Nena a Modernist style house, number 52.
There are many houses of modernist and regionalist style that at the beginning of the 20th century replaced the old medieval constructions and now "decorate" the Street of Sa Lluna.
