Located on each side of the entrance to the bay of Port de Sóller, these two lighthouses have illuminated the way to the navigators looking for refuge in the port since its construction in 1859 and 1864, respectively.

Capgros lighthouse, white and 22 meters high, is 120 meters above sea level in the Morro des Xoriguer. Accessible from the Port of Sóller through the Camino del Faro, the Capgros Lighthouse is an ideal place to enjoy the views and know how the lighthouses lived in ancient times.

The Lighthouse of La Cruz, 13 meters high and painted with blue and white stripes, rises 35 meters above sea level on the hill of the Port de Sóller. Very close to the lighthouse tower is a "blower": a hole in the rock that communicates with the sea and that the days of temporal causes a large stream of water that rises 30 meters and collapses above the lighthouse.

In 1812, the two lighthouses of Sóller became the first electrified lighthouses in the Balearic Islands, although the defective electric line obliged them to resort to emergency lighting almost daily.
