In the neighbourhood of Cas Paneras, one of which still retains the rural charm of the orange orchards, located in the Carrer de les Rentadores and next to the torrent, an old water mill and a weaving factory we find the Rentadores de Can Bac : where in the past the townspeople were going to wash clothes. A task, formerly, carried out mainly by the women of Sóller and that some of the oldest today still remember although currently the Rentadores de Can Bac have fallen into disuse.
In Sóller we find other Rentadores besides those of Can Bac such as Can Rave, s'Estació, the Mercat Municipal, Camp de sa Mar, ses Fonts de S'olla and the Port de Sóller.
